Leyton and Wanstead and Woodford flower clubs helped St. Edmunds Church at Chingford celebrate with a small flower festival. The flowers represented passages from the king James Bible.

Art work was provided by children from the local junior school.

On opening day small workshops for children were organised. They were able to decorate muffins, make a garden of Eden with earth, pebbles, seeds and a snake, and fill in Joseph’s coat of many colours with pieces of brightly coloured material.
