Members of London and Overseas had a warm sunny day for their workshop at Harold Wood. Organised by Eileen Clark, Area Education Representative, and tutored by Jeanette Bell. Members enjoyed the experience of working with familiar materials in new ways.

The day started with making a Mikado Reed wall hanging, using glass tubes for the fresh plant material. They made a colourful display when finished. After a light lunch a Timber Framed Table Centre decorated with a variety of flowers, shells, beads, cones and finally wool.

They were both unusual designs and everyone, experienced flower arranger or new to flower arranging went home with two delightful arrangements. They all agreed that they had enjoyed the day and urge other members and visitors to join the next
